Chief Executive Officer, Bill Prew (London)
Bill Prew is the Founder and CEO of INDOS Financial. Bill is a qualified accountant with over 18 years financial services experience. He started his career in 1993 in the investment management division of Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC). After 7 years with PwC in London and Sydney working with a broad range of financial services clients, he helped establish an email technology company before returning to financial services and joining Barclays Global Investors in 2002. At BGI, Bill served as European Chief Financial Officer and then Head of Supplier Management, with responsibility for the management and oversight of BGI’s European outsourced supplier relationships providing custody, fund accounting, transfer agency and client reporting services to over 2,000 accounts and $620bn of traditional long-only and alternative funds. In December 2007, Bill joined Moore Capital Management to support the spin-out of the management of the $3.5bn Moore Credit Fund to James Caird Asset Management, a hedge fund manager with offices in London and New York. During his time at JCAM, he was responsible for a range of operational areas including finance, legal, compliance, product control, investment operations, fund accounting and technology. On leaving JCAM in December 2012 to focus full time on AIFMD and the development of the INDOS business he held the position of Chief Operating Officer. Bill is a recognised independent expert on AIFMD and funds oversight and has presented at many industry events and been published widely in the industry press.
Non Executive Director, Des Quigley
Mr Quigley is a non-executive director of a number of investment funds and financial services companies. He has held a number of senior positions with accountancy firms over the past 30 years focussing on clients in the financial services sector, prior to retiring in 2010. From 1995 to 2010 Mr Quigley was head of the Financial Services Group at Ernst & Young in Ireland, covering Asset Management, Banking and Insurance Business. His clients were mostly in Asset Management and he was a founding member (and past chairman) of the E&Y Global Hedge Fund Committee. Prior to this, from 1988 to 1994 Mr Quigley served two terms as Managing Partner of Ernst & Young in Ireland. During this time he was also a member of the Ernst & Young International Council. Prior to this, Mr Quigley was appointed as a partner of Ernst & Whinney in Ireland in 1977. Mr Quigley is a chartered accountant and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Depositary Manager, Padhraic McLaughlin (Wexford, Ireland)
Padhraic joined INDOS from Citi Hedge Fund Services where most recently he was Fund Accounting Manager with responsibility for managing onshore and offshore teams, client service contact and overall Fund Accounting Operations management. Padhraic started his career with GAM Fund Management in May 2000 working on mutual funds in a valuations role. He moved to Hemisphere Management Ireland Limited in 2002 which later became Bisys Hedge Fund Services and subsequently Citi Hedge Fund Services. During his career he has gained extensive experience in all aspects of fund accounting and transfer agency functions. Padhraic holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
Depositary Manager, Micheal Reddy (Wexford, Ireland)
Micheal joined INDOS from International Fund Services (IFS), a division of State Street AIS, where he held the position of Senior Associate in their hedge fund administration department. Micheal was involved in servicing one of their largest clients, with over 140 alternative investment funds under administration, across a wide range of fund structures. Prior to joining IFS, Micheal spent over 9 years at BNY Mellon in varying fund accounting roles servicing both traditional long-only and alternative funds. Micheal has a degree in Economics and History from University College Dublin.
Depositary Manager, Andrew Watson (London)
Andrew is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) with over 14 years experience within the private equity and financial services industries.
Andrew started his career in 1999 with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Audit, working across a variety of Banking and Capital Markets clients. In 2003, Andrew joined the European private equity team at Bank of America as Financial Controller. During 2006, he stayed with the team through a successful spin off process to form Argan Capital, an independent European mid-market private equity fund. At Argan he had a wide range of responsibilities including compliance, tax and accounting. In 2011 Andrew moved to Belfast to take up a role with the Heritage group, a financial services provider, initially as a senior fund accountant before moving into the role of senior depositary officer, where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of AIFMD depositary clients. Andrew has a degree in Mathematics from Edinburgh University.
Risk & Controls Manager, Emmet Jackson (London)
Emmet joined INDOS from Equinoxe Alternative Investment Solutions (Ireland) Ltd where he most recently held the position of Group Manager within Fund Accounting and prior to transferring back to Dublin, he worked as Head of Operations for Investor Services in their Bermuda office.
Emmet started his career in June 2000 with Fortis Fund Services before moving to International Fund Services (IFS), a division of State Street AIS. He then moved to Tranault Fund Services in 2004 which later became JP Morgan Hedge Fund Services and held the position of Group Manager within Portfolio Accounting. In 2010 Emmet worked for JP Morgan Australia in their Sydney office as a Compliance Analyst before joining Equinoxe in 2011. Emmet has over 16 years experience in Fund Administration covering both fund accounting and investor services and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Economics) degree from Waterford Institute of Technology.
Head of Client and Business Development, Jon Masters (London)
Jon Masters is a Chartered accountant with over 30 years financial experience. Jon qualified with Touche Ross before joining James Capel in 1988 where he worked in operations before becoming Head of Treasury, and helping establish the HSBC Investment Bank. In 1999 he moved to the Treasury Management team at Lehman Brothers where he was responsible for Network management and Cash management. In 2004 he joined the Executive office to focus on senior client relationship management, working under Xavier Rolet. The team focused on the firm’s top clients in the Asset Management sector, covering Hedge Funds and large Institutions. Jon moved to Northwood Capital, a hedge fund, and one of his clients in 2008 as COO, also specialising in compliance and risk management. Following the closure of Northwood, he joined Sciens Group as Head of Compliance, before moving to INDOS in 2017.
